Good Performance and Reliability with Simplified Management

Ease of Management and Automation

Automation: LXC integrates well with orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker, enabling automated deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Simplified Operations: Containers simplify operations by providing a consistent environment across different stages of the application lifecycle, from development to production.

Cost-Effective Solution

Resource Utilization: LXC containers are more resource-efficient than traditional VMs, allowing more containers to run on the same hardware. This can lead to cost savings in infrastructure. Reduced Overhead: The reduced overhead of containers means less CPU, memory, and storage are needed, lowering the overall cost of operation.

Microservices Architecture

Service Segmentation: Containers are well-suited for microservices architectures, where applications are broken down into smaller, independent services. Each service can run in its own container, making it easier to manage, scale, and update independently. Scalability: Containers can be easily scaled up or down to handle varying loads, providing flexibility and efficient resource usage.

Development and Testing

Environment Consistency: Developers can create consistent and reproducible environments for development, testing, and production. This helps in avoiding the "works on my machine" problem. Rapid Deployment: LXC allows developers to quickly deploy, test, and iterate applications in a controlled environment.

Resource Isolation

Isolation: LXC provides a way to isolate applications and services, ensuring that each container operates independently. This isolation can enhance security and stability by limiting the impact of failures and vulnerabilities. Consistency: By isolating applications, LXC ensures that each environment remains consistent, reducing the risk of conflicts between software dependencies.

Lightweight Virtualization

Efficiency: LXC containers are lightweight compared to traditional virtual machines (VMs). They share the host system's kernel, leading to lower overhead and more efficient use of system resources. Faster Performance: Containers typically have faster startup and shutdown times than VMs because they don't require a separate OS for each instance.

SiveHost ahead of time - SiveHost is usually a step ahead and are mostly aware of issues ahead of time. There are some cases when I had to wait for response but that's not something to hold against them. They are good at what they do.

Frequntly Asked Question

Cloud Hosting is a faster and more advanced form of Shared Hosting. It gives you access to the simple and familiar control Panel, and is powered by robust Cloud Technologies. Cloud Hosting gives you the power to scale your RAM and CPU resources, and is run on a full SSD server.

The basic difference between Cloud Hosting and Shared Hosting is the underlying technology that powers both products. With Cloud hosting, you get everything that Shared Hosting offers along with the ability to scale your CPU and RAM, and an extra boost for your website with an all SSD server stack.

SSD (Solid State Drives) are a form of storage technology. It is a much faster storage than the existing HDD (Hard Disk Drive) storage. Faster storage means your data gets written to and read from your storage faster. This means that your websites will load much faster if they are running on SSD storage.

Website caching is a service that helps load your web pages faster, without having to overload the server during situations of high traffic. We use NGINX Plus caching to ensure that your visitors don't get any lag while loading your website.

Upto 8 GB RAM and 8 cores can be added with any Cloud Hosting Plan.

For Cloud Hosting (US) packages, you can purchase a Dedicated IP for an additional cost by raising a support ticket. Unfortunately, for Cloud Hosting (IN) packages, we do not provide a Dedicated IP

To install SSL on your cloud server, you need to get in touch with our support team and we will get it installed for you.

Yes - we provide 'Quick Install' which is accessible from your control Panel. Quick Install allows you to plug and play various scripts like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, shopping carts like Zencart, Magento and various other billing, social networking, support and chat modules.

No, an upgrade or downgrade is not possible between the plans. However, you can purchase additional RAM and CPU cores as per your requirement.

You are responsible for your backups and web content. We create our own weekly backups , and can restore your web, email and database content from those per your request. However, this is NOT a procedure you should rely on to keep copies of your content safe; we recommend you make your own backups. You can take a backup from your control Panel or better, use a remote backup solution.
